Job Description

The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo is seeking a Definite Term Lecturer for a three-year contract with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2021.

This position will support undergraduate teaching in the Department of Economics, https://uwaterloo.ca/economics/. Candidates must have at least a master’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in economics or a related discipline and/or evidence of successful teaching.

Duties include the preparation and delivery of courses in undergraduate economics; participation in the development of new course offerings; and service to the department and University.

The salary range for this position at the rank of Lecturer is $70,000 to $100,000.  Negotiations beyond this salary range will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
