Job Description

The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo is seeking a Definite Term Lecturer for a three-year contract with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2021.

This position will support the Department of Economics, https://uwaterloo.ca/economics/, in delivering undergraduate marketing and business-related courses. Candidates must have at least a master’s degree.  Preference will be given to candidates with marketing experience and/or evidence of successful teaching.

Duties include the delivery of an existing undergraduate marketing course; development and delivery of in person, online, or hybrid courses in marketing; participation in the development of new course offerings supporting the Arts and Business program and the Management Studies Minor; and service to the department and university.

The salary range for this position at the rank of Lecturer is $70,000 to $100,000.  Negotiations beyond this salary range will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
