Definite Term Lecturer, Business Communications, Ethics or Organizational Behaviour
The School of Accounting and Finance, in the Faculty of Arts, at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a Lecturer in Business Communication, Ethics and Organizational Behaviour for a two-year definite term contract with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2023, renewable in accordance with university policy.
The successful candidate will allocate 60% of their time to teaching in the School’s undergraduate and graduate programs and 40% of their time to service supporting the strategic priorities and objectives for the School of Accounting and Finance.
Candidates must have a university degree in a business-related field, along with significant work experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. The primary focus of teaching will be business communication with additional teaching in ethics or organizational behaviour. While not required, a professional designation in accounting or finance would also be an asset.

The expected start date for the position is July 1, 2023. Starting compensation in the range of $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 is anticipated, based on qualifications and experience. Negotiations beyond this range may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
